Draft Jimmy Butler. Please.

Character. This guy has it.

Toughness. He's got it.

Courage? Please believe that. By now everyone who's been following the draft knows his story. Homeless at 13, and through the majority of his high school years, Jimmy struggled to find stability. Thankfully he was adopted going into his senior year in high school.

But he doesn't want your pity. He doesn't want anyone to feel bad for him. Because he knows it made him who he is today. He loves that he got that experience, even though it was tough.

Butler has seen his draft stock rise in recent weeks, impressing every team he's worked out for. He had a strong performance at the pre-draft Combine but he's creating the most buzz through the interview process. Several team representatives have been saying that he is easily one of the most impressive young men they've ever interviewed.

As of today, just an hour before the draft gets under way, all sorts of mock drafts have the Celtics taking Jimmy Butler with the 25th pick. He's a smooth scorer, capable of scoring from inside and out. Good rebounder and has potential to be a lockdown defender. And from what I've seen in some recent YouTube videos he's got some pretty decent bounce to him. It also definitely helps his case that Doc Rivers is a Marquette grad.

I just hope no one takes him first. At least now I have a reason to be anxious.
