So in typical Daisuke fashion Matsuzaka diagnosed himself and decided he needs Tommy John surgery. Which is actually a relief. I've been all set with Dice K for a while now. He's so whiny and Japanese. Every now and then he'll string a few solid starts together to tease us. It never lasts long though. Eventually he'll pull himself out with arm soreness or elbow tightness or shoulder weakness. And then he'll blame the Red Sox training staff for not allowing him to do his own regimen. All in Japanese. That just tops it off for me. This guy hasn't even bothered to learn our language. He's only been here for like five years. People talk about how Manny being Manny isolated him from his teammates. Well people can't even communicate with Dice K. Although he won't be pitching for us any time soon anyways, he needs to be shipped out of town at the next chance they get.
Apparently Okie Dokie Okajima decided he didn't want to be around with his pal so he's asking to be traded. I guess he's all upset about being taken off the 40 man roster but he really has to see it from our point of view. I don't think he's thrown a strike since 2007. He needs to go too. Wish granted Okie Dokie.
