Mike and Tommy

These guys are legendary.

They've covered the Celtics for 30 long years now, through the good times and the bad. Watch highlights of the old Big 3 and you'll be sure to hear Mike doing the play by play and Tommy offering up his usual over the top, completely Celtics centric commentary (that's a lotta c's).

Simply put, these two ARE Celtics basketball. Like Johnny Most before them, their voices are the teams best form of representation.

I grew up listening to these guys call games, the same way I did with Jerry Remy and Sean Mcdonough (now Don Orsillo, who I've obviously grown fond of). I always get a kick out of the chemistry they have together. They create a delicate balance. Mike calls the game and gives fair analysis of both sides, while Tommy is the explosive former player who needs to be reeled back every now and then. Mike does that for him and has for the past three decades.

I look forward to listening to them for many more years to come.
