Wrapping up the Preseason

- Bill had the starters play into the second quarter, helping to erase the bad taste of Saturdays debacle against the Lions. Tom looked sharp, spreading the ball around. Seemed like they made a conscious effort to get Ocho the ball right off the bat. The chemistry will come, I'm sure of it.

- Fantastic to see Haynesworth out there. He made an immediate impact, getting a strong interior rush and nearly getting a hand on David Carr's pass. Haynesworth had an equally impressive post game interview, saying he's blown away by New England and that if he knew it would have been like this he would have given up all his Redskins money to come here earlier. He also touched on the depth this team has on the D-Line, saying it allows them to go as hard as they can for 3-4 plays before being subbed.

- Looks like we might have seen the last of Brandon Tate. His top competitors at Wide Receiver didn't suit up (Taylor Price and Julian Edelman) and it seemed that Matthew Slater has also vaulted over him on the depth chart. He again failed to make an impact in the return game. Everyone knows how I feel about Julian Edelman. He makes Tate expendable.

- Shaun Ellis showed good burst. Really looks like we're going to have a terrific pass rush this year. Andre Carter can get after it. Ellis. Cunningham. And the way they're moving Mayo around he'll end up with a bunch of sacks.

- The countdown for the 12th begins.
