Give the Hebrew Hammer the football

Jewish with hair like Jesus. Homeless man swag. Scarf swag. All of the above apply to Julian Edelman. On top of all those he's a pretty stellar athlete.

I want to see him on the field a ton more this year. And that means he needs to be the third receiver instead of Brandon Tate. Tate just hasn't been consistent enough for me. I don't know what was up with Julian in practice because on game days he makes things happen. Sure he had a few drops last year but theres no doubting what he can do when he gets significant playing time (similar to what we saw from Jeff Green when he got 30 minutes plus against the Wizards late last year). Last game of the regular season he lit it up. He had that 94 yard punt return for a TD and it felt like every time he touched the pigskin he had a legit chance to go the distance.

Last summer when I went to Pats training camp it looked like they were even lining him up as a third down back every now and then. That's the kind of creativity and versatility this former QB can bring to the table.

He's a playmaker. The Hammer's got a fever and the only prescription is more end zone. Get him out there.
