Expect to see Shaq Game 3

All signs point to the big mans return this Saturday night.

Frankly, if he's healthy, the stage is set for him to make a Shaq sized impact in this game. We all know he has a flair for the dramatic, so he must really be digging the story line right now. Down 2-0 to a pair of former teammates, his team needs an energy boost.

The return of the Big Shamrock could be that much needed catalyst. Lebron and D Wade have been getting wherever they want on the basketball court the last two outings. It looks like they can pretty much get to the paint whenever they want to. Shaqachusetts will definitely make them think twice about coming in there.

One of the biggest x factors for the Heat has been the play of Joel Anthony. He's certainly been annoying to watch. Sort of like a really poor mans Dennis Rodman. A homeless mans Dennis Rodman. He's been all over the place. Grabbing rebounds, blocking every shot attempt Jermaine O'Neal has in this series. But it'll be interesting to see how well he can jump with 350 pounds of man on his back.

If Shaq can help to eliminate Joel Anthony, put a body on him, that alone would be a huge gain for this team. But if he's capable of getting up and down the floor he can contribute even more than that. The Celtics missed an inordinate amount of easy looks right around the basket. They would even uncharacteristically come up with second and third opportunities, eventually coming up empty. That's where Shaq can take control. If he gets those big mitts on the ball around the basket, he's going to finish.

More than anything, this basketball team needs some life from its crowd. Bill Simmons tweeted that a Celtics basketball team hasn't need it's home crowd this bad since the late 80's. I wasn't alive then but I couldn't agree more. If Shaq is able to bring anything at all to the table, that would send the Celtics faithful into even more of a crazed, drunken, frenzy.
