FUN FUN FUN FUN!

Haven't done a bloggy since since Game 1. And like the Celtics I feel sharp right now. I'm on point. Focused and ready to pour out some words like a babbling brook en la primavera.

If this "switch" actually does exist it was switched on "on" for the Celtics tonight. They were crispy clean from the start. They were moving the ball on offense and rotating so well on D that for a while it looked like the Knicks would struggle to reach double digits by the end of the first quarter.

Rajon Rondo turned in his first triple double of the postseason (15 points 11 rebounds 20 assists) and trust me when I say it will NOT be his last. As he has so many times before he set the pace, constantly getting out in front of the Knicks transition defense and either finishing himself or finding an open Paul or Ray. Conveniently, both of those gentleman decided not to miss tonight. P Twice was 14-19 for 38 points. Thats all. Just the best pure scorer in Celtics history right there. And Ray Allen was right there with him, going off for 32 points, shooting 8-11 from 3 point land.

THAT is why we're title contenders. Because when we feel like it we can play stifling D and we have too much talent on the offensive side to be contained. Sure, people can be negative and point out that our bench is our own worst enemy but to those individuals I say, be quiet. Relax. It'll come with time. Don't forget, we don't even have our starting center right now. Hopefully before too long Jermaine O'Neal will become a part of that bench group. And those guys just need more time playing together. When we sweep the Knicks on sunday we'll have a whole week off. Thats just more practice time is all that is. More time to get all the youngsters on the same page, and to rest the wily vets.

Anyways, great C's double you. Happy birthday to me.
