The difference between "The King" and MJ

This is what Lebron lives for. Deep down, what he cares about most is being AMAZING. More than anything he wants to amaze. If he was honest with himself he'd see that. At this stage of his career, he'd choose this over winning. He lives for lighting up a sub-par, under 500 team, to demonstrate how superior his skills are. Like a skilled high school player trying to impress all the girls in attendance.

And THIS is what MJ lived for. Raising his game to unheard of levels on the biggest of stages. If leaving onlookers awestruck was a result of this then so be it, but it was not his goal. His only goal was winning. duh.

He went all out in all facets of the game, not just the ones he excelled at and knew would make him look good. Seconds before he buries his 6th three of the half he tripped on a teammates foot and lost his balance. Lebron would have used that moment as another excuse to soak up the spotlight, perhaps acting as if he was fouled, or maybe even stumble into the cameras to show some "fake hustle." Michael Jordan earned the spotlight by putting every inch of his being towards winning.
