C's knock off the whole losing charade, turn it on in the second half to down Pacers

Another slow, tough to watch start from the C's. Definitely looked they were mistaking this one for a back to back game.

Good news is someone must have notified them they'd actually had a few days off and were allowed to act interested. Is that too harsh? Maybe a little.

Either way they got their act together. After a sluggish first which ended with the score 20-15 in the Pacers favor the second unit was able to provide some energy and kickstart a run that would generate 32 second quarter points.

This felt like the first time in forever we'd actually had enough healthy players to have anything resembling a bench. Delonte is so huge for this game. He finished with pretty modest numbers but his timing was excellent. Besides that unfortunate turnover right when he checked in, where he bobbled the Troy Murphy outlet pass out of bounds, everything was crisp.

Rondo had another fairly puzzling outing tonight. He did finish with 8 assists but had 0 points and only attempted a mere two field goals. I'm not sure what to make of it. It's not even as if he's in some sort of slump really. Again he doesn't appear to be injured. He just looks a little bit out of sorts. Going out on a limb here but I do wonder if it might have anything to do with the loss of Perk, who was his closest friend on the team.

Jeff Green had another impressive game, finishing with 19 and doing a great job of harassing Danny Granger (who got extremely frustrated in the final minutes and probably should have been tossed). I continue to be impressed with his length, athleticism, and ability to finish down low. That little jump hook he utilizes is fantastic. It's impressive to find a low post move like that for such a young player. Lebron's coaches have been trying to instill that in him for years, but hey he's too busy becoming a global icon.

From here on out I would LOVE to see these type of minutes for the Big 4. Rondo was the only one who played at least 30. I actually wish Doc could have taken Ray out even sooner. I understand the game was not completely out of reach for the Pacers but still. That scares me. We all know how easily injuries can happen. D-West sprained his ankle in non-contact walk-through practice. My point is, if we have a double digit lead and theres around 6 to 5 and a half left in the game, I don't want to see a single starter out there.

Great night at the Garden. Mike and Tommy night was done well and it was fun to hear them talk about a few great memories they've shared together throughout their long 30 years doing telecast together. I'm glad the boys in green were able to get the W for the tonight.
