GIVE ME MARK HERZLICH

I'm on board. I want Mark Herzlich. Even if you don't follow college football that closely you have probably heard his inspiring story. Considered one of the top linebackers in the nation in 2008, Herzlich was forced to miss the 2009 season after being diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a malignant tumor located in the bone marrow of his leg.

The doctors told him he would never play again. He told them he would. Sure enough, he returned in 2010. While his stats weren't anywhere near where they were in 08, there is no denying this guy has a lot of heart and a lot of passion.

In my opinion he just has that "it" factor. He's aggressive and fiery. I think this is the type of player that the Patriots could really use. Anyone who defeats cancer and then comes back to the game of football clearly has the intangibles to be successful in the NFL.

Besides all that he has terrific linebacker size. Very inept at getting through blockers and being disruptive in the backfield. Plays within himself but still has a knack for being a game-changer. He's been compared to Bruschi in that way.

Make it happen Bill.
