I was always a huge Daubach fan. I loved and respected the way he played the game. A classic dirtdog, he fought for everything he got in this league. So pretty much the opposite of what Bryce Harper aka the wonderboy, will experience.
If anyone can bring this kid back down to earth its Brian Daubach. Harper will probably get hazed more by his own manager than by his teammates. Point is, someone needs to tell the wonderboy what's what. He needs to be put in his place as soon as possible.
The Nationals management say that Daubach is perfect to manage Harper so that he can teach him how to function in a professional setting. Isn't Bryce still like 17? Treat him like a child then. Bat him ninth every game. Respect your elders son. You aren't allowed to speak in this clubhouse until you're an adult.
