PROP DUNK CONTEST

So Demar Derozan complained about what the Dunk Contest is turning into. And he makes a pretty good point. A lot of dunks have been done in the history of the contest, so its tough to come up with new ideas. So there is a lot of compensating with props. And while that does take away a little bit from what the contest used to be, I think it creates a more entertaining product. This whole weekend is all about entertaining the fans anyways.

So yeah Derozan did get robbed a little bit as he completely one of the best pure dunks of the night. And yeah the dunk contest is more of a popularity contest when it comes down to it. It was just super duper pretty and its even more so in super duper slow mo. I hear ya Demar. And guess what. I respect you. Keep balling.
