Big Baby is right; The Magic can't hang with the C's in a 7 game series.

Glen Davis' comments following Boston's loss to Orlando might have seemed ill-timed. But Baby was feeling competitive and he's always one to speak his mind. Exhausted after playing a season high 39 minutes, Davis proclaimed that Orlando can't beat us. He quickly clarified that he meant in a playoff series. So early in the season and in the aftermath of a tough loss this may look like a pretty bold statement. But he's right. We have so many big bodies to throw at Dwight Howard, even more so when Perk works his way back into the lineup. Shutting down Superman is the first step to beating this Magic team. This year they've made it more of a priority to getting him the ball early, and letting everything else fall into place from there. But it's safe to say that the C's have him figured out. KG seems to think so:

"I thought everybody who guarded him did a good job on him," Garnett said. "It's not like he has a ton of moves. He is either going to jump-hook you, spin-lob ... he is very predictable."

Once Howard's out of the equation it becomes more difficult for the Magic to create any sort of offensive flow. When their 3-ball isn't falling they often will shoot themselves right out of games.

It will be interesting to see how Van Gundy balances minutes between Jameer Nelson and Arenas. I felt that the C's caught a break when he kept Agent (1?) out there a little bit too long. Jameer was effective down the stretch but he won't be able to do the same against Rondo in a playoff series.

No matter how you look at it the Celtics win the matchups against the Magic. Perk is a notorious Superman stopper, Kryptonate jumped right over him in the dunk contest, and Rondo's the best point guard in the league. We have a superior frontcourt, especially with the departure of Gortat. Our depth will give the Big 3 the rest they need to finish out close games. All in all, we're better. Sorry Tiger.
